SONOMA MARIN AREA RAIL TRANSIT (SMART) Contractor Safety Orientation
Designed for: All contractors working with, for, or on SMART’s right of way.
SMART values the connection and importance between the operation of our railroads and the safety of all who enter our property. This site is designed as a safety orientation course and is required to be completed prior to any contractor entering our property. This course can be used as an individual study course or as a group facilitated course. This orientation course is required annually. Once you have registered you will be able to login and take any course that you need. Each course will have a short evaluation at the end. These evaluations will be used to track your knowledge of key points.
Badging
The railroads require each contractor that works on our property to register on this site. Once you and your company are registered on this site you will be able to gain access to your training and badging. You need to have proper identification and training verification, this site provides it to you.

COURSES YOU NEED
The following web-site has been designed for you, your employees, and your sub-contractors to obtain your orientation for Contractor Safety and Security Photo ID Badges while working on these properties. This site is designed as an orientation course and can be used as an individual study course or as a group facilitated course. You must be registered and have completed the specific course and exercise for that specific railroad prior to working on their property. These orientation courses are required to be completed annually. The photo ID Badges are valid for 2 years.
